Children

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Harvest believes in ministering to the needs of every age group, including our littlest members.  They may be small, but every child has the potential to make a huge impact for the Lord.  It's important that kids have fun at church and grow in their relationship with Jesus.  Our Kid City Team Members are committed to making sure every child has a positive church experience and that even the infants are introduced to a love for Jesus early on.

4th & 5th Grade

Our 4th and 5th graders will not check into Kid City on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. Instead, we will welcome them into the main Sunday morning service to worship with their families!

Wednesday nights also looks different for these students. Our 4th and 5th graders will spend Wednesday nights with Daniel & Joanna Capps, and will learn deeper truths about Worship, Prayer, the Power of the Holy Spirit, and Serving Others. This will take place in their own space in the church building outside of Kid City and will prepare them in a greater capacity to enter Harvest Youth when they are 6th graders.

Baby Dedications

It is the common desire of Christian parents that their children come to know Jesus and choose Him as their Lord. Here at Harvest Christian Fellowship, we believe that baby dedication is simply a way for the church to come alongside parents in this hope and pray a spiritual blessing over a child. We believe that salvation and baptism must result from a conscious, informed decision to believe, therefore baby dedication is not equivalent to salvation. However, we also believe that parents, family, and a community of believers coming together to pray over a child can have a spiritual impact on the child’s life.
